College Essay: University of North Carolina Wilmington

            Since a very young age, it was always fascinating about what lurked in the Ocean. “What lies in the big vast ocean?” being a little child, questions kept brewing up in my mind, wondering about all the interesting new things that had hoped to be discovered, I was pulled into a state of wonder. Although, there were many things that I had yet to learn, as I entered into school, I had many different subjects although marine science was not one of them, I had eventually forgot about it. As time passed by, learning new things, it had finally hit me, that feeling of wonder, finally being able to learn a little more about the ocean it felt a little satisfying, although there was a lot more to learn.

            Finally being able to learn more about the ocean, school was not the only place to learn, watching the TV it had always been the Discovery channel on the ocean or certain types of Fish etc. Learning about the marine life had me focused, and I’m normally not focused a lot or really talkative, but just being able to know more about this subject tends to keep me calm. One day, my dream is to explore an abyss and be able to discover new things.

            Living in Hawaii, I have been surrounded by the ocean throughout my whole life, it feels as if the ocean has been there for me in a way that is has been apart of my home as well as my life. Being able to attend the University of North Carolina Wilmington, I believe that this University would give me one giant step to fulfilling my dream. Marine Biology is the only subject that gives me motivation to do anything, being able to learn more about it will give me a big advantage on a dream that I so hope to fulfill.

-Seafood Gun woman-

On one nice day, There was a Woman that received her “Monthly Gift” otherwise known as a lady’s period. She was a woman of a decent age around her early 30’s, married to a loyal nice man who is around his mid 30’s. Although the lady’s mindset was not as stable as the average person due to an accident she had 5 years ago that involved someone hitting her head while she was eating her favorite seafood treat just to steal her food leaving her with a mental head disorder. With the technology that we have to offer now, she was recovered but a part of her sanity was taken that could never have been brought back. So on her fist day of her period, she already was experiencing cravings, so she called her husband up to bring her food, and he agreed to do it although, due to his hunger, he ate it, so when he arrived home, she noticed him empty handed. Due to all this, with all the mixed feelings of her past and her mood swings, she became aggravated and snapped, but the husband came prepared, and told her that he made a dinner reservation at a 5 star seafood restaurant because he knew that it was her favorite type of food. Then they had a wonderful dinner together.

-Take your daughter to work day-

            As this Father is excited to see his family, he is more excited about the new program that they are doing in his job as a soldier, two days before his deployment to Iraq, this new program allows him to bring his three daughters with him, and when he divulged this information to his daughters, they became overjoyed started to jump around and hug him.

-Sike that’s the wrong Sport-

            As the London Olympics go on, two volleyball stars approach the beach volleyball arena, although, it turns out that it wasn’t actually a beach volleyball arena, but a beach bowling ball arena, but instead, they actually played the game not knowing what to do, but surprisingly, they win with USA in first place.
